Fortnite game mode
Fortnite has four main game modes, each offering a different experience for all types of players. The four modes are Battle Royale, Battle Royale, Creative Mode and Save the World.
Battle royale
Fortnite is free to download and play on consoles, PC and mobile! Jump on the battle bus, slide across the island and fight to be the last survivor. Alternatively, you can team up with friends or other players to compete against other teams. Harness the power of wood, stone, and metal to build structures that help you. There’s always something going on in Fortnite Battle Royale, with new items, weapons, vehicles, modes and special events being added regularly – all without forgetting the seasons. Each new season opens up a new theme on the island, such as a spy invasion or a catastrophic flood.
Royal party
Battle Royale is a mode that incorporates Battle Royale. Here you can store your weapons: a place of constant development and experimentation, focused on fun and relaxation. For example, you can practice glider flying during aerial lessons, compete in rowing competitions, watch a movie, and even attend live concerts by some of the most popular artists! Also, like all other modes in Battle Royale, Party Royale is completely free.
Creative mode
Fortnite Creative Mode, included free of charge in Battle Royale, gives you complete control over the island. Create your game with your own rules and most importantly invite your friends. From simple to authentic demonic ones, you have all the tools to create your dream game. When you’re not creating it, enjoy games created by your friends and other members of the Fortnite community. Besides making you imagine the game, Creative Mode is a great place to easily create your own landscape. Shape your island freely and enjoy it with your friends!
Save the world
In Fortnite: Save the World, team up with your friends to explore massive destructible terrain and fend off hordes of monsters known as the Hulk. You’ll grow stronger as you mine loot, craft weapons, and expand your hero collection. Build a base and fortify it with traps to stop the Hulk! Play Save the World with friends or other Fortnite community players. You can access this mode by purchasing one of the Save the World packs available on our website, or directly in Fortnite or the console’s online store. Save the World is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Join millions of cross-platform Fortnite players
Millions of people around the world play Fortnite, so you’ll never be without players – whether it’s challenging them in Battle Royale, testing the game with them in Creative Mode, or saving the world Kill the Hulk together. Fortnite is cross-platform compatible, which means players from different platforms can play together!
What platforms can I play Fortnite on?
Currently, Fortnite Battle Royale, Party Royale, and Creative Mode can be downloaded on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android via Fortnite.com/Android or the Epic Games app on the Samsung Galaxy Store. Save the World Mode is currently only available for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Fortnite on Mac, iOS and Google Play is stuck on the 13.40 update, new players cannot install it on iOS. Save the World is no longer available on Mac. If you want to take advantage of the latest update, you’ll need to play on the other platforms listed above.
